Every roll starts as a single panel of genuine cowhide — natural grain, natural variation, nothing printed on. The seams are run by hand, and the leather does what real leather does: darkens at the touch points, softens at the fold, and starts to look less like a product and more like a possession.

Stitching is the tell.
Follow the seam with a fingertip and you won't find a loose end. The strap is leather, not elastic; the D-ring and ball stud are solid metal, not plated plastic. Handwork invites inspection because it survives it.
